Town of Emmet

The town of Emmet was established on December 20, 1888 and the first town meeting was held on April 2, 1889. The Town of Emmet hall is located in Halder near the geographic center of the township, just south of state highway 153. The Emmet town hall was built in the late 1930's and serves as the regular town meeting and polling place today.

Regular town meetings take place on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM.
